Umamusume: Pretty Derby is set to collab with Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, with Haru Urara and Oguri Cap leading the charge.
Cygames is bringing two of its biggest hits together once again. Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, the sequel to its long-running digital card game, will soon host a crossover with Umamusume: Pretty Derby, the horse-racing idol game that has become a global hit.
Umamusume is known for turning real-world racehorses into anime idols, building one of the most passionate fanbases in mobile gaming. Now that universe is colliding with Shadowverse, as some of its most recognizable stars make their way into the card battler.
Haru Urara gets official TCG card
The event will begin on October 9, 2025, and run for a limited time in Japan, giving players the chance to earn themed rewards.
Leading the collaboration is Haru Urara, one of Umamusume’s most iconic characters. In the real world, Haru Urara became a national sensation in Japan for her record-breaking losing streak, turning into a beloved underdog.
In Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, her card style is modeled after Bellringer Angel, emphasizing her supportive and defensive nature.
The collaboration carries added weight, arriving just weeks after the real Haru Urara died on September 9, 2025, at the age of 29. Her legacy as Japan’s most famous underdog makes her appearance in Shadowverse feel like a tribute as much as a crossover.
She won’t be alone, though. Fellow Umamusume favorite Oguri Cap is also part of the event, with her card style tied to Odin, Twilight Fate. While Haru takes on a supportive, defensive role, Oguri’s design emphasizes raw strength and the ability to clear the board.
According to Saiga NAK, both cards can be unlocked through login bonuses and limited-time missions, keeping them outside the usual gacha system and accessible to all players.
This isn’t the first time Umamusume has crossed paths with Shadowverse. Back in 2022, the original Shadowverse game ran a larger collaboration that introduced Umamusume characters as leaders, emblems, and sleeves.
As of writing, there has been no announcement regarding a global release date for the Shadowverse x Umamusume collaboration.
