Valorant’s 11.07b update patch notes are here, and it marks the arrival of Veto. However, the new agent won’t be available in all modes just yet.

The summer of 2025 has been a pretty big one for Valorant. Riot Games’ five-on-five shooter has celebrated its fifth anniversary, switched over to Unreal Engine 5, brought new maps to the mix, and shaken up the Agent pool.

On top of that, NRG took home the win at Valorant Champions Paris, with the event also marking the unveiling of a new Agent – Veto.

The Senegalese Sentinel’s arrival has already sparked concerns from fans, mainly due to the power of his abilities to block and nullify others. However, they finally try him out following patch 11.07b.

Veto joins Valorant Agent pool, but not in TDM

That’s right, Veto is now live in Valorant following the arrival of patch 11.07b, which also adds the Skirmish game mode into the mix.

However, the new sentinel isn’t actually available in every mode just yet. “Veto is currently disabled in TDM due to a bug. He will be re-enabled in TDM in patch 11.08,” Riot said.

You are still free to try him out in other game modes, including Skirmish, Spike Rush, and normal play. However, there will be no free tests in Team Deathmatch.

As noted, Skirmish has also been added into the Valorant playlists. It is a fast-paced mode, which can be played in any form from one-on-one to five-on-five, with smaller maps.

It’s basically a headshot fest with abilities. The first team or player to 10 wins the game.

Here are the full patch notes for the 11.07b update.

AGENT UPDATES

  • VETO IS HERE. Empowered by an unstoppable DNA mutation, Senegalese enforcer Veto defies the rules of engagement by nullifying his opponent’s powers and technology. On Veto’s battlefield, gunplay is your only guarantee.

Abilities:

Chokehold

  1. EQUIP a viscous fragment of your mutation. FIRE to throw. The fragment deploys upon impact, creating a trap to hold enemies in place. Held enemies are Deafened and Decayed. Enemies can destroy the trap before activation.

Crosscut

  1. EQUIP a vortex. FIRE to place on the ground. While in range and looking at the vortex, REACTIVATE to teleport to the vortex. During the BUY PHASE, the vortex can be reclaimed to be REDEPLOYED.

Interceptor

  1. EQUIP the Interceptor. FIRE to place the Interceptor at projected location. Once placed, RE-USE to activate. Once active, it will destroy any utility that would BOUNCE off a player and/or be destroyed naturally by gunfire. Enemies can destroy the Interceptor.

Evolution

  1. INSTANTLY begin to fully mutate, gaining a combat stim, regeneration, and becoming IMMUNE to all forms of debuffs.
