Twitch streamer Cdee2Neat was banned from the platform shortly after going viral for a clip in which he said he would use gift subscription money to buy food.
The streamer attracted attention online after a clip spread across social media showing him talking about Jamaican beef patties and saying he would buy some if he received two gifted subscriptions.
The clip subsequently gained traction online, eventually leading to Twitch’s official account gifting the creator 50 subs during a stream.
Cdee2Neat says he’s old enough to stream on Twitch
After his channel was banned, Cdee2Neat responded to an X/Twitter post claiming he had been suspended for being underage.
“The thing is I’m literally 13,” he said, referencing Twitch’s minimum age requirement for streaming on the platform, which states that “Twitch is a live streaming service designed for people aged 13 and up.”
As of writing, attempting to access Cdee2Neat’s Twitch profile returns the usual message for banned accounts. “This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
Cdee2Neat didn’t say how long the ban was in place for, but said he’d continue streaming on his YouTube channel in the meantime. As standard, Twitch doesn’t comment on reasons for bans or their length.
