Vitaly has posted bail in his Philippines harassment case, but the YouTuber isn’t free to roam the country just yet.
The prank YouTuber was arrested on April 2, 2025, after a series of videos and streams went viral showing him harassing people around the country. In the clips, he was seen impersonating a police officer, forcibly filming civilians, and causing minor traffic incidents.
Shortly after being detained, Vitaly confessed to the alleged crimes. On June 16, a photo surfaced showing that he had lost a significant amount of muscle and weight due to his time spent in jail.
On Sunday, June 22, however, Vitaly was able to post bail in his ongoing harassment case – but that doesn’t mean he’s a free man.
Vitaly detained by immigration after posting bail
After posting bail for his harassment case, Vitaly wasn’t able to leave the custody of the authorities. Instead, the Bureau of Immigration took the man into custody due to a pending deportation case.
According to the Bureau, Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado confirmed the YouTuber would not be allowed to move freely around the country. He said: “He will not be allowed to roam around as he is already seen as an undesirable alien. Foreign guests are expected to follow the law during their stay in the Philippines. We will not allow them to abuse our hospitality and disrespect our people and our country.”
The Bureau of Immigration says deportation proceedings are on hold until Vitaly’s legal issues are resolved, and any sentence is served.
