Black Ops 7 arrives on November 14, and shortly after, it will integrate with Warzone, bringing across its guns, Operators, and a brand-new Resurgence map.
In an interview with Variety, Activision’s Head of Marketing, Tyler Bahl, confirmed players at Call of Duty Next will get to play “our new free-to-play ‘Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence’ experience called ‘Haven’s Hollow.'”
This means that Verdansk is here to stay for the foreseeable future. The countdown for CoD Next showed Verdansk, so we already expected this, but a new Resurgence map’s arrival confirms it.
We don’t have any official details about Haven’s Hollow yet, but we know roughly when we can expect it, as well as some leaks.
When does it arrive?
We expect Haven’s Hollow to arrive in the Warzone and Black Ops 7 Season 1 update, which usually drops roughly three weeks after launch. So, we expect the update on Thursday, December 4, but we’ll keep you updated.
This is also when all of Black Ops 7’s weapons arrive in Warzone, alongside new weapons, Operators, maps, and the first Battle Pass.
Leaks
According to reliable leakers TheGhostOfHope and Reality, it’s going to be “an extended Liberty Falls.” This is a fictional town in West Virginia, where Black Ops 6’s Liberty Falls, Shattered Veil, and Reckoning Zombies maps are set.
Reality said the upcoming map “Features the Liberty Falls map (obviously), Shattered Veil, among other places.”
While they didn’t name Haven’s Hollow, Hope said this Liberty Falls map is “planned to release with the Black Ops 7 integration with Season 1 in late 2025.”
We’ll need to wait and see if Haven’s Hollow and this leaked map are the same. There’s always a chance this Liberty Falls map arrives in a later season, or we never see it at all.
