Warzone’s new “powerhouse” LMG outguns meta Assault Rifles with insane TTK

Warzone has a brand-new LMG that can go toe-to-toe with the best Assault Rifles in the game, thanks to its low recoil and unbelievably fast TTK.

Season 1 shook up the Warzone meta in a big way, after it fully integrated with Black Ops 7 and brought all of multiplayer’s weapons to battle royale. As expected, many of these guns have now become the go-to picks, especially ARs like the MXR-17 and DS20 Mirage.

However, the new Sokol 545 LMG, which is one of the rewards in the Naughty and Nice Christmas event, has emerged as a surprise contender that can rival, and in some cases outgun, the best weapons in Warzone.

Streamer WhosImmortal highlighted the weapon in a video on his YouTube channel, where he described it as an absolute “powerhouse.”

Checking its time-to-kill using CODMunity also shows just how strong it is. Up to 43 meters, it can kill a fully plated enemy in 617ms, which is identical to the AK-27 and MXR-17.

However, once you go up to 66 meters, it has a TTK of 723ms, which only the AK-27 can beat. Then, from 70 meters and above, the Sokol 545 is in a class of its own at 830ms, with its closest rival being the MK. 78 on 846ms.

On top of all that, it’s also extremely easy to use, as it has virtually no horizontal recoil. While it does pull up slightly during sustained fire, it remains fairly straight, so you don’t have to do much work to keep it on target and achieve that rapid TTK consistently.

Of course, as an LMG, it is slightly heavier and slower than an Assault Rifle, but this can be improved slightly by equipping the 60 Round Mag.
