The Wasteland just got a whole lot more dangerous after the second episode of Fallout Season 2 with a civil war brewing in the Brotherhood of Steel, a fan-favorite monster, and Caesar’s Legion on the horizon… So, what time is Fallout Season 2 Episode 3 out?
While Maximus (Aaron Moten) was largely absent from the premiere, he takes more of the spotlight in the second episode as the Brotherhood arrive at Area 51 and raid the technology inside. We even got an Easter egg for the alien mission in Fallout: New Vegas! Fans were already desperate for those long-reported remasters, now they’ll be foaming at the mouth for it.
It even embraced the silliness of the franchise with the Brotherhood’s Power Armor boxing match, but even that was used to push Maximus’ character further as he’s faced with the idea that he’s no longer the good man his father told him to be.
The episode ended with the arrival of Paladin Xander Harkness (Kumail Nanjiani) from the Commonwealth… This could get interesting. Here’s what time Fallout Season 2 Episode 3 is out.
Fallout Season 2 Episode 3 will start streaming on Prime Video at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Wednesday December 31. Here’s what time it streams in other timezones:
- 8am UK
- 9am Central European Summer Time
- 10am Eastern European Summer Time
- 1.30pm India
- 5pm Tokyo
- 7pm Sydney
Prime Video has switched back to its normal release schedule now after it dropped the Fallout Season 2 premiere early. The rest of the second season will stick to the Wednesday slot. HBO Max used a similar tactic for It: Welcome to Derry, and surprised horror fans by dropping the second episode on Halloween.
How many episodes are there in Fallout Season 2?
There are eight episodes in Fallout Season 2, which is the same as the first season. It’s a smart move from the streaming service not to bump up the episode count just because the first batch was popular, and it means that audiences have two whole months of Fallout to enjoy instead of a quick binge.
That means the last episode of Fallout Season 2 will stream on February 4, 2026. Thankfully, Prime Video has already renewed it for Season 3, with Todd Howard telling Dexerto that the next season has more room to expand its story compared to the games.
Creator Jonathan Nolan told IGN that they intend to start production sooner rather than later: “In regards to Season 3, we are hoping to be shooting again next summer. Our incredibly talented cast and crew were able to work quickly enough to get back on the air in a reasonable amount of time.”
