Episode 3 ends with Maximus choosing to kill Paladin Xander Harkness (Kumail Nanjiani) with the Super Sledge because he was going to massacre Thaddeus (Johnny Pemberton) and the children working for him at the Sunset Sarsaparilla bottling plant. Remember, the Brotherhood of Steel might think they’re the saviors of the Wasteland, but they’re also extremely xenophobic against anyone that isn’t purely human.
It’s proof that Maximus still remembers his father’s teachings to be a good man, despite growing up without his parents after they were killed by Hank MacLean’s (Kyle MacLachlan) bombing of Shady Sands. This is all without mentioning how Lucy held her own long enough against Caesar’s Legion (including Macaulay Culkin as a legionnaire) until the Ghoul broke in to save her.
Basically, it was an action-packed episode with a killer cliffhanger. So, here’s what time Fallout Season 2 Episode 4 is out.

Prime Video has pushed forward with its normal release schedule now after it started by dropped the Fallout Season 2 premiere early for the holidays. Episode four has some big shoes to fill, especially since fans will be halfway through the season.
How many episodes are there in Fallout Season 2?
There are eight episodes in Fallout Season 2, which is the same as the first season. The streaming service hasn’t bump up the episode count following the success of the first season, and it means that audiences have two whole months of new Fallout episodes to enjoy instead of just binging them all on release day.
That means the final episode of Fallout Season 2 will stream on February 4, 2026. Thankfully, Prime Video has already renewed the series and Todd Howard teased how Season 3 will change from the games when speaking to Dexerto before the new season.
“I don’t wanna spoil anything, but what I would say is the show has an opportunity more so than a single game to pull things because we can jump locations, we can jump timelines,” he explained, before adding “We can do more than we thought we could when we first started, if that makes sense.”
