What happened in Gen V Season 2, Episode 7?
Gen V Season 2, Episode 7 mainly revolved around Marie and Cate Dunlap (Maddie Phillips) trying to rescue Vought scientist Thomas Godolkin (Ethan Slater) from Cipher (Hamish Linklater) because he could potentially help defeat Homelander (Antony Starr).
Unfortunately for the Gen V crew, once Marie healed the severely burnt man back to his normal self, Godolkin reveals himself as Cipher… Yes, the comatose burn victim used his telekinetic power to permanently control another man for a prolonged period of time.
The person he was controlling as the Dean of the school, played by Linklater, is actually just a random former-Blockbuster employee called Doug. Now that Godolkin has been revealed as the true villain of Gen V Season 2, he wants to cull the university of Supes who aren’t as powerful. Oh dear.
