Industry Season 4 Episode 2 was a wild ride, and to see the fallout from that dramatic instalment, here’s details of when, where, and at what time you can watch Episode 3.

HBO‘s Industry plays like a cross between Wall Street, Succession, and The Wolf of Wall Street, and has seen finance bros fundamentally misunderstand the show.

Season 4 has Harper teaming up with Eric, and boardroom drama at fintech company Tender. While what Episode 1 lacked in Robert, it made up for with a surprising Donald Trump cameo.

Episode 2 took the series in an unexpected direction, which we recap below, alongside details of Episode 3’s release.

Industry Season 4 Episode 3 airs on HBO Max this Sunday, January 25, at 6pm PT/9pm ET.

The series is a co-production between HBO and the BBC, so if you are in the UK, the new episode will be available on the BBC iPlayer the next morning (Jan 26), while it drops on BBC One at 10.40pm that same day.

For other territories, there’s a sneaky way to watch: by using a VPN. You’ll still need a subscription to the streaming service, but you can do this by using a gift card to pay for it or via on-demand platforms such as Amazon Prime.

For viewers using this method, we’ve listed several alternate time zones below so you know when to tune in:

  • 1am Brazil (January 26)
  • 4am UK (January 26)
  • 5am Central European Time (January 26)
  • 9.30am India Standard Time (January 26)
  • 3pm Australia (January 26)
  • 5pm New Zealand (January 26)

How many episodes are in Season 4 of Industry?

As with the previous three seasons, there are eight episodes in Season 4. Here’s how the release schedule looks for US viewers (so just add a day if you are in any of the above territories):

What happened in Episode 2?

Episode 2 – titled ‘The Commander and the Grey Lady’ – was something of a bottle episode, largely playing out in and around Henry Muck’s stately home, and focussing on his own mental breakdown.

The action takes place at Henry’s 40th birthday party, which brings back terrible memories for Muck, as he witnessed his father’s suicide on his 40th birthday.

Yasmine has organised a costume party for the ocassion, and invited her husband’s friends, family, a potential business partner offering him a job at Tender, and the Labour MP who recently defeated Henry in a by-election.

But while they are partying hard, Henry is spiralling, snorting every drug in sight, arguing about the proletariat, and considering taking his own life.

He makes a scene at his birthday dinner, before heading off to a nearby pub with an old friend, where he beats a local to a pulp. It’s then revealed that said friend is actually a mirage of his father, which pushes Henry over the edge.

Henry heads to the garage, turns on the engine of his dead dad’s car, and tries to kill himself via carbon monoxide poisoning. But then he hear’s Yasmine’s voice in his head, which inspires Henry to live.

He narrowly escapes, and reunites with Yasmine via a spot of sex on that same car’s bonnet. A seemingly rejuvenated Henry then says he’ll take the job he was offered earlier in the episode, and states that he wants to try for a baby.

But the look on Yasmine’s face in that moment suggests she doesn’t believe all is suddenly well with her husband, and a baby is the last thing they should be bringing into the world.
