Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is now deep into the ‘Culling Game Arc,’ so here’s details of when and where to watch Episode 4, as well as refresher on what happened in Episode 3.
Jujutsu Kaisen fans got an early peak at Season 3 of the manga adaptation last November when Episodes 1 and 2 were packaged together and released in cinemas.
Titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution, the movie provided a bridge between the Shonen Jump’s Shubuya Incident and Culling Game, and grossed more than $40 million in theaters.
Now fans of Greg Akutami’s manga can see what happens next, with Episode 3 out, and Episode 4 dropping this week.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 4 drops on Crunchyroll on January 22, 2026, at 9am PT/12pm ET.

What happened in Episode 3?
In Episode 3, the sorcerers meet with Master Tengen, learned about the Culling Games, and came up with a plan to win – or at least avoid dying.
At the end of Episode 2, our heroes entered an underground chamber to speak with immortal jujutsu sorcerer Master Tengen. At the start of Episode 3, Tengen explains that the Culling Games are designed to collect enough cursed energy to force evolution via assimilation on Japan.
The host in Suguru’s body is called Kenjaku, and while his previous attempts at domination had failed for a variety of reasons, it’s now possible due to the death of Riko Amanai, Gojo’s sealing in the Prison Realm, and Kanjaku’s own acquisition of Geto’s body.
They learn that the Culling Games only end when everyone is killed, but players can be freed through new rules, while there is also the possibility of opening the ‘Back’ of the Prison Realm.
The sorcerers then formulate a plan, which involves protecting Tengen, recruiting Kinji Hakari, investigating a Game colony, and obtaining cursed tools.
