We now know who was calling Bree at her wedding – and now so does Stephen. Tell Me Lies Season 3 Episode 5 is set to pick up where the drama left off, and it’s coming to Hulu very soon.
Stephen (Jackson White) has been a nasty piece of work from the very beginning, but he really ramps it up in Season 3, throwing everything he’s got at Lucy (Grace Van Patten).
After she picked her friendship with Bree (Catherine Missal) over him, he blackmailed her into recording a confession in which she admits to lying about Chris (Jacob Rodriguez).
But this is far from the only storyline unfolding between the two timelines. So you don’t miss a thing, here’s the exact release date and time of Tell Me Lies Season 3 Episode 5.
The fifth episode of Tell Me Lies Season 3 lands on Hulu on Tuesday, January 27 at 12am ET. This means those on PT will get it a day earlier – January 26 at 9pm.

As for why there are less episodes than in Season 1, showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer is yet to comment on the third chapter, but she did explain why this was the case for the second.
“There were a bunch of reasons. It was scheduling. It was because I was expecting a baby and we were trying to finish the season before she was born; then the strike happened and it was all besides the point anyway,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
“It was production reasons, not anything creative. But it was nice. I think it made everything a lot tighter.”

What happened in Season 3 Episode 4?
In the 2009 timeline, Stephen learns about Diana’s pregnancy and immediately tries to reassert control over her. Diana shuts him down, making it clear he no longer has any power over her – a rejection that enrages him.
In response, Stephen looks up Caitie Parker, one of the women Chris sexually assaulted. Lucy is later summoned to Dean’s office, where she’s told that Caitie wants to reopen the case.
Lucy desperately wants the situation to disappear, but it’s clear that won’t happen, so she turns to Diana for help. Diana advises Lucy to do nothing, despite the fact that Stephen still has Lucy’s confession recorded on tape.
Meanwhile, Oliver continues to treat Bree badly, accusing her of being too needy and claiming she pushes people away. Afterwards, Wrigley comforts Bree, reassuring her that she’s amazing and not needy at all.
Although Tell Me Lies Season 3 appears to be setting up a potential romantic connection between the two, Wrigley’s comments about Evan cause Bree to rethink her previous relationship. Ultimately, she decides to go back to Evan and restart things with him.
Elsewhere, Pippa and Diana hook up again after Pippa comforts her about Stephen. Lucy, meanwhile, reconnects with new Season 3 character Alex.
The two previously slept together after the tape incident, and their dynamic includes a humiliation element. That dynamic escalates when Lucy spots Max on a date with another woman.
Feeling guilty, she tells Alex she treated Max terribly, and Alex demands she humiliate herself by interrupting the date and apologizing. After the painfully awkward encounter, Lucy and Alex head straight back to his place to have sex.
In the 2015 timeline, it’s revealed that Wrigley was the one calling Bree at her wedding. He even mentions to Pippa that he’s pretending she’s the one he has a crush on, strongly implying that Bree is the person he’s truly in love with.
During the wedding celebrations, Stephen secretly checks Wrigley’s phone and sees the repeated calls to Bree – and Stephen is the last person anyone would want discovering that kind of secret.
