Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite is hosting a crossover with popular gacha game Honkai Star Rail, leaving fans wondering when it’s due to arrive.
One of the many reasons that Fortnite has managed to maintain such a healthy player count over many years is the sheer number of crossovers it pulls off. Nearly every week, a new set of iconic characters gets added as skins.
In Chapter 7 alone, we’ve seen the likes of South Park, The Office, and even Jason Statham join the roster, but the devs are far from done. Now, they’ve confirmed that Honkai Star Rail is getting its own collab, so here’s everything we know about it.
The Honkai Star Rail collaboration is set to arrive on Thursday, February 5, 2026, as part of the v39.40 update. This is the same day that the South Park event, Born in Chaos, is scheduled to end.
Skins and what to expect
It hasn’t been confirmed exactly what the Honkai crossover will look like; however, it appears we’ll be getting skins for Blade and Kafka. The two weapons shown in the one teaser image we have so far belong to these characters, with Blade usually wielding the cracked sword, and the long, red katana being Kafka’s signature steel.
Both will be added to the in-game store, alongside a host of other themed cosmetics, such as Back Blings, Pickaxes, and Emotes. It remains to be seen exactly how much they will cost, but based on past crossovers, somewhere around the 1,500 V-Buck mark seems likely.
We’ll have to wait and see if these are the only characters included, or if Epic has more up its sleeve. If the two skins perform well, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the likes of Firefly or Sunday released later down the line.
There’s also no word yet on whether there will be Honkai Star Rail items added to the map, or if this crossover only consists of skins.
