We are weeks away from Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah’s story coming to an end, more than three years after that fateful summer in Cousins Beach.
The hit YA adaptation, based on Jenny Han’s novels, is four episodes away from its highly anticipated (and a little dreaded) finale. For those who want to spoil it for themselves, the books are right there and ready to read if you want to find out Belly’s endgame, but Han has teased changes to the story, so it could have a different ending.
After the release of Episode 7, there’s only one question fans are going to be asking: when is Episode 8 out?

How many episodes are there in Season 3?
There are 11 episodes in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, with the 11th and final episode set to air on September 17.
This is a bump compared to the first two seasons, which had seven and eight episodes respectively.
In an interview with The Wrap, Han teased: “I’m always thinking about my book fans. There’s Team Conrad book fans, and there’s also some Team Jeremiah book fans… there were teams even when I was writing them years ago, so it’s not new, although it is pretty intense with the show.
“For me as a storyteller, I have to feel good about what I’m making, and I have to feel proud of it, and I have to be excited by it. I just write what I think is the best story, and that’s what I’ll stand by.”
What happened in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 7?
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 7 was another dramatic chapter, with Conrad finding out about Jeremiah cheating on Belly and admitting he still loves her.
“I still love you. I don’t think I’ll ever get you out of my system. You will always be there. Here. It’s not all of a sudden, Belly. Don’t you realize that? It’s always,” he says, adding that while he loves Jeremiah because he’s his brother, “when I see the two of you guys together, I f**king hate him.”
Understandably, Conrad asking her to be with him instead comes with a lot of pressure, but she (perhaps unwisely) stands her ground. “You will never be what Jere is to me,” she tells him.
“He’s my best friend. And he loves me no matter what, and he doesn’t take it away when things get hard. Nobody has ever treated me the way that he does. Nobody. Least of all you… you and I were never anything.”
By the end of the episode, Belly leaves Conrad alone on the beach, with his hopes and dreams ripped and scattered in the sand – unless something changes…
