Single’s Inferno Season 5 has reached its finale on Netflix, meaning we now know which couples were formed in the final decision – including who Choi Mina Sue went with in the end.

The Netflix dating series doesn’t have the best track record for sparking lasting romance, with all but one couple ending up in a long-term relationship after filming. But that doesn’t stop fans from rooting for their favorite partnerships.

This year, the Single’s Inferno Season 5 cast pool has been the biggest yet, meaning there have been even more connections forming and a stack load of Paradise dates for singletons to get to know each other better.

With their time on Inferno now drawing to a close, they have to make the ultimate decision. So, let’s dive into the Single’s Inferno couples who choose each other. Warning: spoilers ahead!

Single’s Inferno Season 5 final couples

Kim Min-ji & Song Seung-il

You’ll no doubt be pleased to know that Kim Min-ji and Song Seung-il pick each other. They’ve been one of the most shipped couples since the start, but they’ve certainly had their ups and downs, with Seung-il getting to know Choi Mina Sue and Min-ji picking Lim Su-been for a later Paradise date.

However, they find their way back to each other in the end. As Seung-il says in the Single’s Inferno Season 5 finale, “I think I was the most myself whenever I was with Min-ji.” When they come face-to-face, Min-ji admits, “I like you,” to Seung-il, causing the hosts to cheer in celebration.

Park Hee-sun & Lim Su-been

Another couple who fans ship is Park Hee-sun and Lim Su-been, and they’ve also had a rocky journey, with Mina Sue showing interest in Su-been earlier on. But the biggest hurdle came up in Episode 11, when Seung-il told Hee-sun that Min-ji and Su-been shared a bed while in Paradise.

Thankfully, they’re able to overcome this and they choose each other in the final decision. As they explain their reasoning, we’re shown that Su-been apologized to Hee-sun for the bed sharing situation, enabling her to move past it.

Hee-sun says Su-been helps her to open up, and that he made Inferno feel like Paradise. Earlier on, Su-been tells Hee-sun that he grew even more attracted to her the more they got to know each other, and that he’d like to see her on the outside.

Choi Mina Sue & Lee Sung-hun

Choi Mina Sue and Lee Sung-hun hit it off right away, with both having lived in the US and feeling comfortable speaking English. But like the other Single’s Inferno Season 5 couples, they’ve been on a roller coaster of emotions.

Mina Sue initially found it hard to make a decision on who she liked, while Sung-hun later got to know Hee-sun better – but they came back to each other in the end. Mina Sue says Sung-hun brought out the best version of herself, while Sung-hun says Mina Sue holds a special place in his heart.

The Single’s Inferno hosts, who have watched their ups and downs throughout the course of Season 5, celebrate their partnership. As Dex says, “I’m so happy for them.”

Lee Joo-young & Kim Jae-jin

Lee Joo-young is faced with a tough decision, as both Youn Hyun-jae and Kim Jae-jin pick her in the final decision. As said by Hyun-jae, she’s the only one he’s liked throughout the entire process, so he sticks to his guns.

But it was Joo-young and Jae-jin who got the closest throughout Season 5, with Jae-jin saying she’s the one he’s most compatible with. “She really gets me, and she’s the one I find the prettiest,” he explains.

Joo-young thanks Hyun-jae for everything, but ultimately goes with Jae-jin, telling him that being around him felt natural and easy. “It honestly made my heart skip a beat more than once,” she says.

Kim Go-eun & Woo Sung-min

If you thought Joo-young had a tough decision, Kim Go-eun has an even tougher one, as she has to pick between three guys: Shin Hyeon-woo, Woo Sung-min, and Jo I-geon. All three have been competing for her affection in the latest batch of episodes.

Discussing their reasoning for their final decision, Sung-min says Go-eun is someone he wants to keep getting to know after the show. I-geon states that he has to go with his feelings, believing they’re on the same page, while Hyeon-woo admits she always made his heart race.

Even though it seems like she’s been leaning more towards I-geon, Go-eun chooses Sung-min, a decision that even shocks the Single’s Inferno hosts. Go-eun explains that while she had a great time on the dates with I-geon, their conversations didn’t feel as meaningful or engaging after.

Meanwhile, Sung-min made Go-eun feel really comfortable. “He took care of me in these subtle ways… He always found little ways to show how he felt about me,” she says.
