After seven weeks of MrBeast mayhem, the time has come to find out the winner of Beast Games Season 2 (and that whopping $5 million cash prize) now that the finale has landed on Prime Video.
The second chapter of the competition series kicked off with 200 contestants – 100 smart and 100 strong. They battled it out through a series of challenges ranging from bribery to obstacle courses and even a visit to Survivor island.
There have been plenty of opportunities for prizes along the way, including a $1.8 million private island and a hefty Captain’s Bribe, not to mention a sneaky $500,000 given to Monika in exchange for the gold coin.
But only one will take home the life-changing $5 million. Polymarket bettors had an idea of who would win, but were they bang on the money? Keep reading to find out, but be warned of spoilers ahead!
Who won Beast Games Season 2?
The winner of Beast Games Season 2 is Player 167 (Tyler), meaning he went home with a cool $5 million.
The finale picks up where the cliffhanger ending of Season 2 Episode 9 left off, with the six finalists revealed, including:
- Player 167 (Tyler)
- Player 99 (Hannah)
- Player 58 (Jack)
- Player 172 (Auguste)
- Player 191 (Cory)
- Player 195 (Brett)
They begin the endgame by standing on individual platforms, with their glass hearts placed directly opposite them. Taking turns, they kick balls at one another’s hearts – once a heart shatters, that player is out.
The round continues until two are eliminated, with Jack falling first, followed by Auguste. Next came a high-stakes memory challenge.
Suspended from poles, the remaining four contestants study a 16-block colored tower before it drops from view. The first to buzz in has to recreate the structure perfectly, and if they do so, they get to choose one player to eliminate.
But if they get it wrong, they themselves are sent packing. Brett is the first to take the risk and he gets it right, choosing to send Hannah home.
The final trio then face one last temptation: a bribe. With one hand cuffed inside a fogged glass box, each player waits as a money counter climbs on their screen. The first to press their button gets to bank the cash but forfeit their shot at the $5 million.
Brett ultimately takes the deal, walking away with $1 million, leaving Cory and Tyler to battle it out.
For the final showdown, the pair stand before a circle of numbered briefcases, just one containing the $5 million check. After a tense back-and-forth of guesses, Tyler ultimately selects the winning case, securing the grand prize and the Beast Games Season 2 crown.
Cory doesn’t go home totally empty-handed, as he won $17,133 during the $1 million split. Speaking to MrBeast at the end, he explains that he doesn’t have regrets. “If I didn’t go for the $5 million, I would always live with that decision,” he says. “Of all 200 players, I’m happy that it was him.”
