Although intended to act as a way of protecting children online, the Online Safety Act, which requires age verification when accessing websites and services, has had added implications for the privacy of many UK users. Specifically, NordVPN is offering up to 72% off their two-year subscription plans along with an added Amazon gift card. Running until August 31, 2025, this is a rare offer from a high-profile brand like NordVPN.
That said, investment with NordVPN can cost less per month, the longer your subscription plan, along with a bigger Amazon gift card is given out with its highest tiers.
Normally £218.16 for two years, the Basic NordVPN now costs a one-time payment of £64.56. That equates to £2.69 per month, and the standard VPN plan that will let you spoof your device’s location and encrypt your data from hackers and other nefarious online criminals. However, this option doesn’t come with a gift card.
Two years of NordVPN’s Plus tier, though, now only costs £83.76 (from £280.56) along with an Amazon gift card, equating to £3.49 per month.
We should caveat that VPN legislation could change, with the UK Government reportedly considering a ban on such services, but the discount here helps outweigh those concerns somewhat.
