YouTuber Sin City Family has turned himself in after rival ‘Finny Da Legend’ was shot dead during his Vegas stream.
On June 8, YouTuber Finny Da Legend was filming outside the Bellagio Hotel on the Las Vegas strip when shots rang out.
In a terrifying video of the broadcast, Finny and another individual believed to be his wife were outside the hotel when a man in a white hat and sunglasses fired multiple shots at them.
“Are you f**king kidding me!” a woman screamed before more shots rang out. Eventually, a police officer picked up the camera and ended the broadcast.
Two dead after YouTube beef ends in Vegas shooting
At a press conference, Undersherriff Andrew Walsh said that police “immediately ran towards the gunfire” where they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
He added that the police believe this was an isolated incident and efforts were being made to apprehend the shooter.
“At this point, we believe we have the suspect identified and that this is an isolated incident, knowing that the suspect and the victim had previously engaged in some type of conflict using a variety of social media platforms,” he explained.
The shooting came as fellow YouTuber Sin City Family, also known as Manny, allegedly posted a video of himself driving through Vegas looking for a “friend” and his “baby.”
Hours later, NBC reported that Sin City Family was arrested. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz walked into the police station and turned himself in.
He was taken into custody and will be booked for two counts of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon.
