YouTuber Patrick ‘PopularMMOs’ Julianelle claims that roughly $200,000 had been stolen from his bank account, a crime he says went unnoticed for years due to his past struggles with alcohol.
In a video posted to his TikTok, the longtime Minecraft creator said he realized the theft only after getting sober and checking his bank statements.
“Someone stole about $200,000 from me,” Julianelle said. “Apparently, they stole the money over the period of, like, three years, and I just never was sober enough to check it.”
Julianelle explained that his account had been overdrawn, prompting him to contact the police. He said officers visited his home to investigate the alleged theft, adding that the suspect was identified and will face arrest.
