Korean mukbang star Tzuyang has stunned viewers yet again, this time by revealing the staggering amount she spends every year on food delivery while consuming an eye-watering 30,000 calories a day.

Tzuyang is one of South Korea’s biggest mukbang creators, boasting 12.7 million YouTube subscribers and millions of views per upload. She’s been a staple of the genre for years, regularly showcasing massive meals that leave audiences wondering how she manages it.

On November 12, she appeared on the Korean program Baedalwassuda to show off her eating skills and chat with singer Song Ga-in. According to Chosun, the pair ordered a combined 50 portions, including 20 servings of chicken feet, 15 portions of pork ribs, and multiple bowls of naengmyeon and bibimbap.

Song Ga-in explained she personally picked Tzuyang as her first guest because she was already a fan, adding that the two became close after filming together.

Tzuyang spends over $27,000 each year on food delivery

During the show, Tzuyang casually mentioned that when she dines alone, she typically orders “about 10 portions.” She then dropped the real bombshell: her yearly delivery bill comes to roughly 40 million won, which is just over $27,000 USD.

“Forty million won is a salary,” host Kim Sook said in disbelief.

The admission comes shortly after Tzuyang revealed she recently underwent dental surgery because of the strain her mukbang lifestyle has put on her teeth.

“My teeth have worn down from eating so much,” she said in a vlog on her second channel. “They’ve become shorter because I use them so much. They told me it’s better to get it done early before it gets worse.”

Tzuyang also clarified just how extreme her daily intake is. Beyond the 30,000 calories of food, she consumes another 2,000 to 3,000 calories from drinks alone.

Her delivery spending is so enormous that it even tops the value of a high-profile delivery scam earlier this year, when a Japanese man was arrested for tricking food apps into giving him over 1,000 fraudulent meals worth around $25,000.

For Tzuyang, though, that amount barely covers a year of eating.
