British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly has resurfaced on social media nearly a year after he was first arrested on charges of sexual assault in Australia.
In October 2024, Yung Filly — real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos — was arrested and charged with sexual assault after a woman filed a report with the Western Australia Police, alleging she had been sexually assaulted in the rapper’s hotel room.
In January 2025, he was hit with additional charges from a separate incident, adding up to six counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of strangulation.
Filly has been quiet on social media in the year since then. Paparazzi caught up with him during his appearance at the Perth Magistrates Court in March, where he told them, “Good afternoon. Enjoy the weather man, it’s a lovely day!”
At that hearing, he pleaded not guilty to several charges against him, which included: “three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one of strangulation, and four counts of sexual penetration without consent.”
Now, nearly a year after he was initially charged, eagle-eyed viewers have spotted him adding posts to his stories on Snapchat.

Two posts from his stories are currently circulating online: one with a selfie asking followers if his curly hair “suits” him, and another of his PC, boasting that he is the “best at Warzone.”
Neither post addressed the charges against him, leaving users frustrated and demanding answers.
“Man didn’t even address the allegations… just asked his followers a random question,” one user remarked on X. “That’s elite deflection.”
“First post back after all that and it’s about the hair… bold choice,” another said.
“He thought if he ignored the allegations, it would go away,” yet another pointed out.
Filly was best known for his role in YouTube group the ‘Beta Squad,’ and frequently collaborated with fellow influencer Chunkz. Filly was also featured on Celebrity Bake Off as a special guest and hosted BBC Three programs.
